Breast Cancer and Eating Healthy
Beginning this month, Turf will be leading a series of
community outreach meetings to learn what are the food and nutrition challenges
for women diagnosed with breast cancer.
Information gathered from these meetings will be used to form a breast
cancer support group in Parkchester and programs focused on healthy
eating.
March Meetings:
Saturday, March 23rd (1pm—3pm)
Saturday, March 30th (1pm—3pm)
*Meeting will be held at St. Paul’s Evangelical Church, 1891
McGraw Avenue, Bronx, NY 10462.
There will be goo food, games with prizes, and cooking demos
at the March meetings!
You must be a women diagnosed with breast cancer (at any
stage, in treatment or post-treatment) and you must RSVP at contactturf@yahoo.com to attend a
meeting.
